FIELD: radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiolocation; it can be used in total-difference monopulse radar systems. The monopulse radar system contains an antenna system and a digital computing device. Outputs of the antenna system are connected to inputs of a receiving device that includes total and difference receiving channels and that is made with the possibility to determine the levels of total and difference signals of a target being tracked at outputs of the antenna system. The digital computing device is connected to outputs of the receiving device, and it provides the calculation of the value of the bearing angle of the target using the levels of total and difference signals. In addition, the antenna system additionally contains a storage device connected to the digital computing device and made with the possibility of entering and storing in it, during the antenna production, the values of the coefficients of power polynomials determined for this instance of the antenna, connecting the ratios of the signal levels of the target being tracked at total and difference outputs of the antenna system with the values of the deviation of the angular direction to the target from the direction perpendicular to the landing plane of the antenna. At the same time, the digital computing device can extract the values of these coefficients and use them when calculating the bearing angle of the target during the operation of the monopulse radar system.
EFFECT: reducing the error in determining the bearing angle related to the difference in parameters of a particular instance of the antenna from the nominal values, as well as simplifying the antenna production due to the possibility of expanding tolerance fields for the values of antenna parameters and its nodes, and ensuring the interchangeability of the antenna from the system while maintaining the required characteristics of the accuracy of determining the bearing angle of the target.
