FIELD: ash graphite purifying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for purifying ash graphite. The method includes heat treatment of graphite concentrate in a mixture with ammonium bifluoride, first at a temperature of 190-200°C for 2 hours, then at a temperature of 360-400°C until the process of sublimation of ammonium silicofluoride is completely stopped, followed by leaching and washing of the resulting product, while thermal the treatment is carried out in the presence of ammonium sulfate, and the leaching and washing are carried out with water at room temperature.
EFFECT: simplification of the ash graphite purification process by reducing the number of stages.
