FIELD: aerospace construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sealing structural elements; it can be used for aerodynamic smoothing of elements of aerospace aircraft. A sealing method involves the application of a sulfur-containing SCOD sealing compound on an aerospace structural element using at least one spray device and at least one irradiation device. The spray device contains a mixed sealing compound, which completely covers a connecting element protruding from the surface, a gap or an uneven connection point. Curing of the sealing compound is carried out using at least one irradiation device. Sealing stages are carried out using an automatic device. An automatic device, an aerospace aircraft and applications of the method and device in accordance with the invention are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides acceleration of sealing processes without compromising structural requirements and durability of structural elements, as well as improvement of the reproducibility of the shape, size and centering of coating of the sealing compound.
