FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating technology. Coating process is proposed, comprising the steps of a) applying to at least a portion of an object a compound containing at least two thiol groups; a compound containing at least two carbon-carbon double bonds and a compound containing at least 2 epoxy groups; b) initiating the reaction of at least a portion of the applied compound containing at least two thiol groups with one of: at least part of the applied compound, containing at least two carbon-carbon double bonds, at least part of the applied compound containing at least two epoxy groups, at least part of the applied compound, containing at least one carbon-carbon double bond and at least one epoxy group, to obtain an intermediate coating which contains at least one compound containing an unreacted group selected from the thiol and epoxy groups, and c) initiating the reaction of at least a portion of said compound containing an unreacted group, to obtain a finished coated article, wherein at least one additional coating is applied after step b) and before step c).
EFFECT: technical result is that the disclosed method enables to obtain a coating with improved strength.
