FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used for the development of complex-structural stratus deposits with a small angle of incidence, folded by dense and semi-rocky rocks. The method for selective development of complex-structured deposits of solid minerals includes sequential selective excavation of a mineral layer and an interlayer of waste rock by means of an active mechanical ripper installed in the front of the excavation-conveying unit. The excavation-conveying unit is equipped with sensors for recognizing the boundary of the mineral layer and the interlayer of waste rock, associated with an automated control system that optimizes the technological parameters of excavation - the depth of loosening and the intensity of the impact of strikers, taking into account the physical and mechanical characteristics of the rocks. The knife is equipped with a vibrator to intensify the movement of the rock mass onto the conveyor, which carries out continuous loading into the vehicle.
EFFECT: increasing productivity and technological efficiency in selective mining of rocks of a complex-structured deposit by changing the layout of mining equipment, equipping with reliable elements for intensifying loading and installing an automated process control system.
