SUBSTANCE: method of combined development of complex-structural deposits includes the extraction of a low-strength mineral layer without preliminary softening simultaneously with the formation of recesses in the form of horizontal slots in the underlying strong rock layer using disk cutters. Disc cutters are mounted on a frame hinged to the body of a surface miner and rotated by means of a hydraulic cylinder. A solution of surfactants for preliminary softening is supplied into the recesses through the nozzles via pipelines from the tank. The volume of surfactant solution supplied through the nozzles is regulated by an automated control system.
EFFECT: increasing the productivity and process efficiency of the development of a complex-structured rock massif by surface miners due to the expansion of their functionality.
