FIELD: control devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control devices for automatic crossing signaling using locomotive equipment. In the method, through a radio channel, a connection is established between the locomotive and crossing equipment, according to the electronic track map and the readings of the sensor of the distance traveled and the actual speed of the locomotive, the distance between the locomotive and the crossing is determined, the braking distance of the locomotive is calculated, taking into account its type and technical characteristics, and the coordinate of the locomotive in according to the following mathematical expression: S1 = S2 + 0,278 (v0tcl+ v0tch. + v0tex.), where S1 is the coordinate of the path for transmitting the command to close the crossing; S2 is the braking distance; v0 is the actual speed of the train; tcl - the closing time of the crossing; tch. - time of checking the freeness of the closed crossing; tex. - the time required for data exchange between the locomotive and crossing equipment; 0.278 - conversion factor from km/h to m/s. When the specified coordinate is reached, a command is sent from the locomotive equipment to close the level crossing, which is performed when the locomotive approaches the level crossing, after the level crossing is closed, a request is made to check the availability of the already closed level crossing, depending on the answer received from the level crossing equipment, the locomotive equipment issues a command to limit the speed until the locomotive stops completely before the crossing or to continue its movement without reducing the speed and passing the crossing without stopping.
EFFECT: increased reliability of preventing collision of rolling stock with an object at the crossing.
