FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for heating a furnace containing a heating zone, which is heated using a nozzle that creates flame passing in the longitudinal direction (D) and that is made with the possibility of supplying fuel and a primary oxidizer to it, while the nozzle is controlled to obtain quantitative ratio of supplied fuel and the primary oxidizer that provides combustion of less than 50% of supplied fuel using the primary oxidizer, while on each side of the specified furnace, a corresponding pair of tuyeres is located for a secondary oxidizer directed to the heating zone to supply the secondary oxidizer to the heating zone downstream from the specified nozzle, essentially parallel to a cross plane (C), and the temperature is measured downstream from the specified tuyeres, while each of the specified pairs of tuyeres contains low-speed first tuyere located upstream and high-speed second tuyere located downstream, wherein the amount of the secondary oxidizer supplied through the first tuyere is regulated so that to obtain homogenous horizontal temperature profile. A furnace made with the possibility of heating it by the mentioned heating method is also disclosed.
EFFECT: possibility of precise temperature adjustment in the longitudinal direction in the heating zone is provided with simultaneous provision of high efficiency in the heating zone and reduction in NOx formation at relatively low costs.
