FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: method for shooting from multi-barrel aircraft cannon containing several barrels, wherein the projectile velocity measurement sensors in each barrel, the projectile velocity measurement unit are made in the form of first and second sensors. The sensors are fixed on the barrel at a certain distance from each other. Each individual barrel is enclosed in a cooling casing, and a cooling system is connected to the cavity between the casing and each barrel. The velocity of each projectile is measured using the sensors. If the velocity of the projectile decreases in one of the barrels, the coolant supply system between this barrel and the casing is activated.
EFFECT: reduction in the dispersion of the projectiles over the firing range.
