FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: device for determining wear of artillery-type weapon barrel bore includes two sensors directly fixed on the barrel, at certain distance from each other and a shell speed measuring unit, and a shell movement speed analysis unit, an analogue-to-digital converter, a memory unit, a transmitting device, a receiving device, an indicator, which are connected in series; with that, the output of the shell speed measuring unit is connected to the input of the shell movement speed analysis unit; shell movement speed analysis unit consists of the first, the second and the third threshold devices, a signal setting device, an OR element. Besides, the output of the shell speed measuring unit is connected to the input of the shell movement speed analysis unit, the input of which is the first inputs of threshold devices, the second inputs of which are connected to the first, the second and the third outputs of the signal setting device respectively; outputs of the first, the second and the third threshold devices are connected to inputs of OR element, the output of which is the output of the shell movement speed analysis unit.

EFFECT: increasing operating services owing to determining actual wear of artillery-type weapon barrel based on an initial shell movement speed analysis.
