FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by analysing the data flow from one software, hardware provided on the computer of the student, automatically identifying one event of student behaviour in said data flow; if said event is a violation of the protocol of remote examination, then such an event is assigned a weight depending on the type of violation, if more than one violation is identified during the exam, the combination of weights of the identified violations is then determined and compared with at least one predetermined threshold value; retrieving a tip on the behaviour of the student, indicating the degree of achievement of said combination of weights of the threshold value, wherein the weight of at least one violation is defined as the combination of weights for this violation identified in one or several modes from the following group: identified automatically, identified automatically and confirmed in the manual mode, identified in the manual mode; wherein quantitatively differing weights are set for one violation, depending on which of said modes the violation was identified in.
EFFECT: reducing the amount of errors when identifying violations of the protocol of remote examination in automated proctoring systems.
