SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring user behavior when interacting with content. In the method, the system contains a server equipped with a database and a central unit for storing conditions for the occurrence of user behavior events, and at least one user device equipped with a data collection unit, an event recognition unit, and a local storage unit for conditions for occurrence of user behavior events. Said data collection unit is intended for the collection of primary data. Said event recognition unit is designed to extract signs of user behavior events, form a vector of values of such signs, map a vector with predetermined conditions for the occurrence of events, transfer data about the occurrence of an event to the server.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the arsenal of tools for monitoring user behavior when interacting with content on a user device.
