FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to means used to stop bleeding. A proposed hemostatic composition contains anion-exchange substance containing one or more positively charged groups related to a matrix and calcium salt, while the composition is free of polyanions. In another embodiment, a hemostatic composition is obtained and described, including: diethylaminoethyl (DEAE) bound to the matrix, and calcium salt, where the hemostatic composition is free of polyanions. A method for obtaining hemostatic compositions is also provided.
EFFECT: compositions with improved hemostatic properties are obtained and described.
