FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to the manufacture of tooling, in particular to molds for molding products from polymer composite materials, and can be used in shipbuilding, aerospace, automotive and other industries. The mold contains half-molds - lower and upper, fixed relative to each other by centering pins with pressure nuts, a profile insert. The half-molds - lower and upper - are made in one piece and are separated by forcing nuts installed on the centering pins. Limiting rings are coaxially fixed on the mold half from above and below through the backing elements. The profile insert is expandable and installed in the mold cavity through the upper stop ring until it stops in the centering collar of the lower stop ring.
EFFECT: increasing the strength and reliability of the structure.
