FIELD: cleaning.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for cleaning circular-section pipes relates to apparatuses for mechanical cleaning of the internal surfaces of circular-section pipes, primarily for removing solid residue from chimneys of furnaces and fireplaces. The apparatus for cleaning circular -section pipes comprises a central body with fastening elements for attaching the control means of the apparatus, at least two elastic tape elements are fixed on the central body, wherein each tape element is fixed so as to form a spiral loop, wherein the end surfaces of the tape elements are cutting edges of the apparatus.

EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of removal of solid deposition due to the use of the cutting properties of the edge of the elastic tape elements while providing a possibility of applying the reciprocating working movements of the apparatus as well as the axial rotation thereof.
