FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning of the inner surface of a pipe (1) with a rotating steel rope (23) includes a carrying axle (2), lower supports (3,4), upper supports (5), a drive (7) of a cutting head (8) and a feed drive (26). The drive (7) and the upper supports (5) are fixed on the carrying axle (2) by means of terminals (6,42), and the steel ropes (23) are mounted in spiral cases (22) and provided with housings (24) with movable bars (25) for their fixation. The lower supports (3,4) are of a telescopic type and have a possibility of adjustment of their height, and the upper ones (5) are provided with springs (44). Grooves (15) on the terminal (6) and fixing projections (13) with threaded holes (14) and screws (16) allow adjusting the tension of a belt (17).

EFFECT: improvement of cleaning efficiency, operating characteristics of the device providing the convenience of assembly, and in the economical use of the steel rope.
