SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in the construction of buildings, transport and hydraulic structures on soft soils. The effect is achieved by the fact that the connector for a flat geogrid includes a tubular body with a cylindrical rod placed inside it, while in the walls of the tubular body there are longitudinal slots, the width of which allows two layers of the geogrid to pass through, while the slots on the body are made intermittent, and in places, where the slots are interrupted, the body is surrounded by clamps from the outside, while one end of the rod is made beveled, and its outer surface is covered with a hardening compound with the possibility of fastening the rod to the layers of the geogrid.
EFFECT: ensuring a reliable connection of the geogrid panels due to their jamming in the tubular body and the transfer of the tensile force to the longitudinal elements.
