FIELD: heat insulation means.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to thermal insulation of pipelines. Heat-insulating module comprises casing, heat-insulating material, fixing device, fixing latches. Heat-insulating material made of polyisocyanurate foam is mounted to the casing in the form of a segment of a cylindrical element using an adhesive composition using polyurethane foam. Ends of heat-insulating material have cuts at angle of 30° up to 42°. Fixation devices are mounted on the outer side of the casing and represent pivotally connected semi-rings made of a metal similar to the casing. Heat-insulating module is mounted on the pipe in close proximity to the shut-off valve, for which the lower part of the heat-insulating module is fixed, then the remaining part of the pipeline is covered with a heat-insulating module in the direction of movement of the hinged mechanism of the fixing device. Fixing mechanism is blocked using the fixing latch. Edges of the heat-insulating material of the additional segments are treated with an adhesive composition of a given composition and installation is performed by joining the corners of the heat-insulating material.
EFFECT: group of inventions reduces the probability of deformation of the shut-off valve during installation of the heat-insulating module in close proximity to the shut-off valve, reduces the probability of stratification of the heat-insulating module and reduces additional heat losses.
