FIELD: communication technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology; it can be used to activate wireless receiving stations with activated radio-(WUR-)circuits. A method for providing an activation signal in a communication channel for a set of receiving stations contains the formation of a set of sequences encoded based on the form of symbol signals, wherein each sequence is included in a corresponding frame of activated radio (WUR), which is intended for a corresponding receiving station and which has a corresponding preset bandwidth; the combination of corresponding WUR frames into a multi-band WUR data unit having a bandwidth that exceeds the sum of preset frame bandwidth of activated radio; the transmission of an activation signal including the multi-band WUR data unit in the communication channel.

EFFECT: technical result is an improvement of the quality of communication.
