FIELD: fiber-optic lines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detachable connectors of fiber-optic lines and can be used to enter fiber-optic lines into a sealed volume. The declared sealed optical connector consists of a plug and a socket. The plug contains a cylindrical metal housing containing a fastening means with a rosette, in which N rigidly fixed ferrules are located, the cylindrical metal housing is partially filled with two layers of a sealing compound. In this case, the inner layer surrounding the ferrule is made of a polymer compound, and the outer layer is made of an epoxy compound. The cylindrical metal housing is made with the possibility of soldering to the wall of the sealed volume. The socket contains a means of fastening with a plug connected to the first cylindrical metal housing, the second cylindrical metal housing and the metal casing. In the first metal housing there are N cylindrical holes, each of which has a screw-in bushing, a spring-loaded ferrule and a centralizer made in the form of a split bushing. The second metal housing is made with the possibility of a detachable electrical dust-moisture-proof connection with the first metal housing and contains a cutout in the wall of the housing and a fastening means for a fiber-optic cable. The metal casing is made with the possibility of a detachable electrical dust-and-moisture-proof connection with the second metal housing and an electrical connection with the fiber-optic cable shield.
EFFECT: ensuring increased tightness of the connection, radio-tightness and reduction of signal losses, as well as simplification of the connector design.
