FIELD: hydroacoustic stations and complexes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in hydroacoustic stations and complexes for surface and submarine ships with a fiber-optic information transmission system. Sealed optical connector consists of a plug and socket. N ferrules are installed in the plug, which is equipped with a strong cylindrical metal case with a valve for checking tightness and a flange containing a means of fastening with a socket. In the all-metal body of the socket, equipped with a flange for connecting and fixing to the body of the device and the plug, N cylindrical stepped holes are made, each of which contains a spring-loaded ferrule with a centralizer mounted on it, fixed with a screw nut. There is a radial sealing ring on the inner surface of the fork body. On the axis of the body of the fork there is a holder with a clip, equipped with two catchers of different diameters, installed at an angle to each other. N spring-loaded ferrules are mounted on a floating fit in the holes of the cage using a plate and keys with a bayonet connection. End and radial sealing rings are installed on the outer surface of the socket housing. N socket ferrules on a floating fit are installed in cylindrical stepped holes in the body, which has holes for plug catchers to ensure a guaranteed connection between the plug and the socket.
EFFECT: improved reliability in deep water applications.
