SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing an ethylene epoxidation catalyst, including bringing into contact an ethylene epoxidation catalyst containing a carrier with silver and a rhenium promoter deposited on it, where the carrier is α-oxide of aluminum, with conditioning supplied gas containing oxygen, for a period of time from 2 hours to 200 hours, at a temperature above 180°C and not more than 220°C, wherein the specified bringing into contact the specified ethylene epoxidation catalyst with the conditioning supplied gas is carried out in an epoxidation reactor and in the absence of ethylene. The invention also relates to a method for ethylene epoxidation and a method for increasing the selectivity of an ethylene epoxidation catalyst.
