DEVICE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF INHALED DRUGS IN THE FORM OF DRY POWDER WITH DOSING RESISTANCE MECHANISM THROUGH REPLACEABLE NOZZLES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61M15/00

Abstract RU 2757077 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an inhalation device for the administration of drugs in the form of dry powder with replaceable nozzles for adjusting the resistance. The inhalation device consists of four types of replaceable nozzles (1), which are made with the possibility of working with only one base (5) by means of protrusions (4) of replaceable heads (1), which are made with the possibility of sliding in corresponding recesses (6) of base (5) for connection. Each of replaceable nozzles (1) consists of mouthpiece (2) for administrating the drug into the patient’s mouth, inlet (3) for administrating the drug into the mouth. In the lower part of replaceable nozzle (1) there is grid (13) made with the possibility of aerosolization and dispersion of the drug in the form of powder. Four types of replaceable nozzles (1) are made with the possibility of regulating the resistance of air flow that supplies the medical preparation in the form of powder in accordance with the inhalation ability of the patient.

EFFECT: achievement of the required resistance and delivery/distribution of the drug to the lungs, providing a practical and inexpensive solution, but at the same time highly effective personalized treatment.
