SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and concerns a method for studying the effect of Opisthorchis felineus exometabolites on the proliferative activity and differentiation of kidney stem cells in an experiment in which Syrian male hamsters (Syrian golden hamster) are divided into 3 groups, animals in all 3 groups are removed from the experiment on the 7th, 15th, 30th day, samples of animal kidney tissue are taken, fixed in formalin, poured into paraffin, sections are stained with hematoxylin and eosin, immunohistochemical study is carried out, the index of proliferative activity of cells Ki-67 is calculated, the number of renal capillaries in the glomerulus itself is determined, by increasing the expression of Oct-4, CD-117 markers in the kidney stroma and in the tubule wall and the expression of CD31, CD34 markers in the glomerular apparatus, it is concluded that stem cells are activated in these structures and that there is a pronounced proliferation of stem and progenitor cells in the forming vessels.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the proliferative activity and differentiation of kidney stem cells in laboratory animals by identifying the replicative potential of the kidneys in various forms of opisthorchiasis.
