FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used to seal flat joints operating in liquid and fuel-oil media. The sealing sheet material contains vegetable fibers, mineral filler, pigment and binder. Synthetic butadiene-nitrile latex is used as a binder. Talc is used as a mineral filler. Waste paper fibers from waste products of production and consumption of cardboard, corrugated cardboard and paper are used as fibers of plant origin.
EFFECT: invention provides the expansion of the raw material base while simultaneously increasing the sealing ability, strength and heat resistance of the sealing material.
