SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for identifying inconsistent use of the resources of a user computing apparatus. The method comprises the stages wherein, using the processor: the operation of the browser process is analysed and the operation of the script executed in the browser is identified; the messages transmitted from the script to the server and from the server to the script are intercepted during interaction of the script with the server; the script and the intercepted messages are analysed for indicators of inconsistent use of the resources of the user computing apparatus; inconsistent use of the resources of the user computing apparatus is identified if at least one indicator of inconsistent use of the resources of the user computing apparatus is identified.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of identifying inconsistent use of the resources of a user computing apparatus.
