FIELD: smoking products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a smoking article with a filter. The smoking article with a filter contains an aerosol-generating rod, a filter located at the end of the aerosol-generating rod located downstream, and a rim paper wrapped around a part of the end of the aerosol-generating rod located downstream and the outer peripheral surface of the filter and connecting the aerosol-generating rod with the filter. The rim paper is a paper containing bleached cellulose and unbleached cellulose, and the fibres of unbleached cellulose have a length of 1 to 4 mm and a thickness of 20 to 70 mcm.

EFFECT: smoking article is created, with a filter containing a rim paper with a texture providing a natural impression which cannot be recreated in printing.
