SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to wrapping paper for a non-burned heated smoking article, a non-burned heated smoking article, and an electrically heated smoking system. Cigarette paper for a non-burned heated smoking articles has a white section, whereon the discriminant index obtained by substituting the values of colour difference according to the CIE Lab colour system *a*b before and after heating for three minutes at 230°C in the equation (1) has a numeric value less than 0.62, and the degree of whiteness according to ISO is at least 83%. The discriminant index (y) is calculated by the equation (1): y=0.18×ΔL*+0.08×Δa*+0.13×Δb*-2.36, wherein the values of colour differences according to the CIE Lab colour system *a*b before and after heating are the values of L*, a* and b* before heating subtracted from the values of L*, a* and b* after heating. ΔL* constitutes the difference in the brightness L* after and before heating the cigarette paper. Δa* constitutes the difference in the colour a* after and before heating the cigarette paper. Δb* constitutes the difference in the colour b* after heating and before heating the cigarette paper.
EFFECT: provided are indicators of paper which does not cause unpleasant sensations associated with the appearance possibly caused by heating.
