FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining and petroleum and gas branches of industry, and can be used in operation and testing of horizontal boreholes for studying the actual filtration flows of a productive reservoir. The apparatus for monitoring and studying boreholes, fixed on sections of the base pipe, comprises a cylindrical body made in the form of a casing, constituting a steel perforated pipe with through holes. Arranged at the edges of the casing are rings fixed by welding, wherein a number of threaded holes is provided on each ring, wherein mounting screws are screwed, a screen fixed between the rings is installed concentrically inside the casing, wherein tracers are arranged evenly along the entire circumference in the gap between the casing and the screen, made in the form of brittle thin rods, the amount whereof is determined by the geometric dimensions of the screen, the casing, and the transverse dimensions of the tracers, and the properties thereof are determined by the composition of the fluid.

EFFECT: monitoring and operation of boreholes by means of an apparatus is provided.
