SEROLOGICAL TEST FOR THERAPEUTIC CONTROL OF HPV16-POSITIVE CARCINOMA Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N33/574 C07K14/25 C07K16/08

Abstract RU 2757629 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to methods for therapeutic control of HPV16-positive carcinoma, an antibody and its use in a method for determining the relapse of HPV16-positive carcinoma after treatment, as well as a kit containing this antibody. In vitro method for therapeutic control after treatment of HPV16-positive carcinoma includes following stages: (a) bringing into contact a sample taken from a patient with HPV16-positive carcinoma, wherein anti-cancer therapy was performed for this patient, with a set of antigens containing conformational epitope of capsid or capsomer L1 HPV16, where the specified epitope is not present in monomeric and/or denatured L1 HPV16, under conditions in which antibodies present in the sample can bind to antigens, and (b) detecting antibody binding in the sample, related to an antigen, where the binding of the specified antibodies has a negative correlation with the success of anti-cancer therapy in the patient. To implement the method, an antibody is used that specifically binds to conformational epitopes of antigens representing capsid or capsomeric structures of L1 HPV16, and that is obtained from a hybridoma cell line with a deposit number DSM ACC3306.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a serological test that allows for highly sensitive and type-specific therapeutic control of HPV16-positive carcinoma and facilitates the detection of the disease recurrence, such as relapse or metastasis, at an early stage.
