FIELD: fuel burning.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for burning gaseous fuel, in particular to vortex burners. A burner with a two-layer vortex countercurrent flow contains a cylindrical burner body and a flame tube and a nozzle coaxially installed in it, in which there is an air channel between the burner body and the flame tube, the flame tube has a front wall, on which an inlet window is located, and a rear wall, on which a nozzle is located, a device for feeding fuel to the inlet window is installed on the burner body, and there is a swirler in the air channel near the inlet window. An additional swirler and an additional fuel supply device are located at the rear wall, while the nozzle is partially located inside the flame tube, and the inlet window is made in the form of a ring installed in it.

EFFECT: simplification of the burner design, which provides a low temperature of the inner surface of the flame tube, thereby eliminating the need to use an expensive heat-protective coating, as well as improved stabilization of the combustion process and the possibility of combustion at higher excess air ratios (lean mixtures) due to the formation of a counterflow inside the flame tube vortex flow.
