FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid oxide electrode materials based on neodymium nickelide, which can be used in medium-temperature electrochemical devices such as solid oxide fuel cells, electrolyzers, sensors, etc. The solid oxide electrode material contains neodymium nickel modified with zirconium of the composition Nd2Ni0.9Zr0.1O4+δ. The technical result is a decrease in values of average temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE) and differential TCLE in temperature range of 100-1000°C. Electrode material with reduced TCLE value is suitable for manufacture of cathodes for electrochemical cells based on proton-conducting electrolytes belonging to the group of barium cerato-zirconates.
EFFECT: decrease in values of average temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE) and differential TCLE in temperature range of 100-1000°C.
