The system contains a wheel washing unit that uses water to clean the wheels of vehicles during operation, and a water treatment unit associated with a wheel washing unit made with the possibility of removing contamination from contaminated water released from the wheel washing unit. The water treatment plant contains a flocculation chamber made with the possibility of removing contamination from contaminated water by flocculation and having a water outlet, a flocculation powder control device connected to a flocculation chamber for supplying a controlled amount of flocculation powder to the flocculation chamber, a filtration tank connected to the flocculation chamber and made with the possibility of filtering a mixture of flocculation powder with contaminated water released through a water outlet, and a drain unit, connected to the filtration tank and made with the possibility of releasing water filtered by the filtration tank. The system is additionally designed with the ability to control the functioning of the flocculation chamber and control the opening and closing of valves installed with the ability to control flows inside the system. The water treatment method contains steps in which the wheels of vehicles are cleaned by means of water in the wheel washing unit, dirt is removed from the contaminated water released from the wheel washing unit by means of a water treatment unit that is connected to the wheel washing unit. Removal of contaminants from contaminated water contains steps in which pollutants are removed from contaminated water by flocculation by means of a flocculation chamber containing a water outlet, a controlled amount of flocculation powder is fed into the flocculation chamber by means of a flocculation powder control device connected to the flocculation chamber, flocculation powder fed into the flocculation chamber is mixed with contaminated water, filtration is performed by means of a filtration tank that is connected to the flocculation chamber, releasing a mixture of flocculation powder with contaminated water through a water outlet, and release the water filtered by the filtration tank by means of a drain unit connected to the filtration tank, and control the functioning of the flocculation chamber and the opening and closing of the valves that control the flows inside the system.

EFFECT: improved water treatment system is provided, which removes impurities from contaminated water during operation.
