DEVICE FOR ASSESSING AND MONITORING DYNAMIC STATE OF UPPER STRUCTURE OF TRACK IN CONDITIONS OF INTENSIFICATION OF TRANSPORTATION PROCESSES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B61K9/08 E01B35/12

Abstract RU 2757941 C1

FIELD: railway engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and can be applied when examining the upper structure of the track. The device for assessing and monitoring the dynamic state of the upper structure of the track in the conditions of intensification of transportation processes contains a measuring system that is mounted on a special freight car, taking into account its possible full load. The measuring system uses vibration state sensors installed on the car body, as well as on the axle boxes of wheel-pairs, which makes it possible to assess the effect of vibrations on the state of the rail bed. The measuring system also contains a scanner installed in the center of the car and connected to the control and information processing unit of the system for analyzing, evaluating and monitoring the parameters of the dynamic state of the upper structure of the track. A car with a measuring system is included in ordinary trains and for a year or several years (twenty to thirty runs) records a fairly representative amount of information about the conditions for ensuring the safety of transportation processes at a certain section.

EFFECT: it is possible to assess the state of the upper structure of the track in the conditions of intensification of transportation processes.
