FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to external fixation devices designed to fix bones of limbs and pelvis in an acute period of injury, stabilize the musculoskeletal system in polytrauma, treat combined fractures of pelvis and hip bones. A rod external fixation device for osteosynthesis of injuries of the musculoskeletal system in injured with polytrauma for the pelvis, hip and lower leg contains rods, on which bone screws are installed by means of attachment points. Two rods are connected by means of pairs of cardan joints that ensure the fixation of a mutual position of hinge links connected by an intermediate rod. The first link of the first hinge is connected to the first rod. The second link of the first hinge is connected to the intermediate rod. The first link of the second hinge is connected to the second rod. The second link of the second hinge is connected to the intermediate rod. Attachment points of bone screws contain a bracket with a longitudinal groove, a clamp and a slider. A bone screw is fixed on the bracket by means of the clamp. The clamp is installed with the possibility of rotation and movement along the groove and fixation of the achieved position. The bracket is mounted on the slider with the possibility of rotation around the longitudinal axis and fixation of the achieved position. The slider is mounted on a rod with the possibility of movement along the rod, rotation and fixation of the achieved position. The bone screw is equipped at a working end with screw thread of transitional diameter, with a diameter of 4.5 mm designed for a far cortical layer of a bone, and with a diameter of 4.7 mm designed for a near cortical layer of a bone.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to provide the possibility of minimally invasive stabilization of pelvic bones, and/or femur bone, and/or shin bones in an anatomically correct position, both of one segment and adjacent segments, with the possibility of postoperative correction of the position of bones and fragments, while reducing the time of application of the device.
