SUBSTANCE: method for providing template-based calendar events with graphic enrichment contains: receiving, through a user interface, a request to create an event on the calendar; providing the display of one or more visual means for selection, wherein each of one or more visual means is a non-text graphic element representing an event template for selection; receiving the selection of a visual means from one or more visual means; extracting information related to the user requesting the event, based on the selection of the visual means, in order to logically deduce one or more aspects of the event; ensuring that the proposed event, which is proposed by the calendar application, is displayed with one or more logically deduced aspects; receiving one of confirmation and modification of the proposed event and ensuring that one of the proposed event is displayed on the calendar, if the confirmation is accepted, and the modified event is displayed on the calendar, if the modification is accepted.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of using template-based calendar events with graphic enrichment.
