SUBSTANCE: proposed is a Bacillus subtilis P19 strain synthesising an antimicrobial peptide (AMP) with activity for pathogenic bacteria - Bacillus anthracis, B. cereus, Listeria monocytogenes, and some Staphylococcus aureus strains. The strain deposited in the State collection of pathogenic microorganisms "SCPM-Obolensk" under the number B-8711, and a method for producing a low-molecular antimicrobial peptide, involving cultivating the Bacillus subtilis P19 strain on a nutrient medium at 360°C for 20 h, selecting the culture liquid, acidifying the culture liquid with concentrated hydrochloric acid to pH 2.5, separating the deposition by centrifugation with cooling, resuspending the deposition in water at a ratio of 1:10, restoring the pH to 7.0± 0.2 mm 0.25 M with a sodium hydrate solution, treating the resulting cell suspension with a mixture of ethanol and acetonitrile (CH3CN) at the volume ratio of 1.0:0.9:0.1 by stirring for 20 min at room temperature with subsequent centrifugation, resulting in a precipitate, dissolving the resulting precipitate in water, resulting in a mixture of peptides with subsequent isolation of a peptide with a molecular weight of 3.4 kDa by mixing the mixture of peptides with butanol at a ratio of 1:0.25, followed by collecting the butanol fraction, evaporating in a drying cabinet at a temperature of 70°C, followed by dissolution of the resulting precipitate in water.
