FIELD: railway vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway vehicles, in particular to devices for dissipating energy from collision of railway cars. The device contains a rod fixed in a hinge support. The rod is made with the possibility of cutting using a cutting tool. The hinge support contains a case with the inner spherical surface. In the case, the outer spherical surface of the inner ring is fixed with the possibility of movement. The inner case of the hinge support has at least one cutting knife.
EFFECT: efficiency of energy dissipation at angular deviations of cars is increased.
