SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy, in particular to hydropower plants, and can be used on offshore drilling platforms and the seashore to generate electricity. The energy generator contains a housing 1 in the form of a vertical vessel filled with a liquid medium, with a movable platform 3 inside, having a channel 4 in the upper part and an air cavity 6 in the lower part. Turbine 7 is installed on platform 3, kinematically connected to an electric generator 11. When platform 3 is lowered, under the action of gravitational forces, fluid flows from the bottom to the top through channel 4 and rotates the turbine 7. When compressed air is supplied to cavity 6, platform 3 receives positive buoyancy and rises under the action of the Archimedes force. The liquid flows from the upper part to the lower one and rotates the turbine 7. The supply of compressed air required for the operation of the electric generator 11 is created with the help of wave compressors using the energy of sea waves.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of the power generator by reducing energy costs and increasing the reliability of operation.
