SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of systems for controlling the operation of an elevator electric drive, in particular, to methods for increasing the accuracy of adjustment of the speed of an electric engine. The substance of the claimed invention consists in the fact that the sensor of the angular position of the rotor is automatically phased in two stages. At the first stage, the system is diagnosed, the absolute phase of the sensor of the angular position of the rotor relative to the magnetic field of the stator is recorded, and the phase of the sensor of the angular position of the rotor is synchronised with the position of the magnetic field of the stator. At the second - "control" stage, the actions of the first stage are repeated. At least at the first stage, the phase of the sensor of the angular position of the rotor is therein synchronised with the position of the magnetic field of the stator at the moment of a short-term deactivation of the electric engine.

EFFECT: increase the accuracy of automatic phasing of the sensor of the angular position of the rotor and increase in the efficiency of adjustment of the speed and torque of the electric engine.
