FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a pharmaceutical composition and its application. The pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a pathological condition related to diabetes includes: an insulin derivative, which is human insulin A14E, B16H, B25H, B29K ((Nεeicosanedioyl-γGlu-[2-(2-{2-[2-(2-aminoethoxy)ethoxy]acetylamino}ethoxy)ethoxy]acetyl)), desB30; glycerin; phenol; m-cresol; zinc ions; sodium chloride, taken in certain amount and having a pH value of 7.4. The use of a pharmaceutical composition is proposed for the treatment or relief of a disease, disorder or condition selected from a group: disease related to type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, obesity or metabolic syndrome.
EFFECT: above-described invention consists in the development of a new composition with a unique combination of excipients, which allows one to reduce the degree of formation of oligomers at the injection site.
