FIELD: radar detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in radar stations (RS) for continuous selection, tracking of an intensively maneuvering aerial target (MAT), including information support for the guidance process of a flying vehicle (FV). In the claimed method, the optimal weighting coefficients of the antenna drive control RS FV errors by angle and angular velocity are determined, uniquely related to the specified parameters of the antenna drive calculated by finding the coefficients of the control signal gain matrix, taking into account the full matrix of penalties for accuracy at the current control time. Calculation eliminates the time-consuming, non-optimal search for the rates of control errors by the brute-force method (trial and error method).
EFFECT: invention provides the reduction of errors in controlling the drive of the radar antenna of the flying vehicle by angle and angular velocity when accompanying the MAT.
