FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustics and can be used to build systems for automatic detection of echo signals received by the sonar against the background of noise and reverberation interference, and to measure the parameters of the detected object. The claimed system contains series-connected parts: an antenna, a receiver with a static fan of directional characteristics, a digital multichannel processing processor, which includes a series-connected block of a set of sequential samples, a block for determining the correlation coefficient, a block for determining the intervals between spatial channels with a correlation coefficient (CC) greater than 0.5, a block for selecting maximum amplitudes in spatial channels with a CC greater than 0.5, a block for identifying a single time and a block for forming a data bank belonging to detected objects. In addition, the system contains a control and display block and a classification processor, which includes a block for forming pictures by range, a block for forming pictures by channels, a display indicator, as well as a sequentially connected block for selecting classification features and a classification block. The output of the display and control classification processor is connected to the generator.
EFFECT: automatic detection and classification of echo signals from real objects using spatial correlation.
