SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing a powder that can be used for spraying corrosion-resistant coatings. Chromium-containing powder is obtained by electroerosive dispersion of X13 alloy in butyl alcohol at a voltage on the electrodes of 100-110 V, a capacity of 45 μF discharge capacitors and a pulse repetition rate of 65-75 Hz.

EFFECT: invention provides a powder with an average particle size of 49.33 mcm with low energy costs and environmental cleanliness of the process.
