FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for manufacture of an apparatus for radio frequency identification of textile articles. A steel cable is separated using a laser emission source while simultaneously welding the individual threads of the cable at the ends thereof into a single steel ball. Tin is applied to the contact platform of the printed circuit board with an identification microchip. The metal cable is mounted onto the contact platform, wherein said cable is welded together with the tin using a laser emission source. The power of laser emission is selected from the condition of partial melting of the steel of the cable and connection with the tin on the contact platform. Welding is executed by laser emission pulses with a pulse length within the millisecond range. The cable is exposed to laser emission in the aerial atmosphere or in the environment of protective gases.
EFFECT: method allows for high-quality and strong mounting of a steel cable to a printed circuit board with an identification microchip.
