FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a solution of sodium aluminate applied as a reagent in methods for producing aluminium hydroxide. Technical result is achieved due to the reduction in the content of sodium oxide to less than 0.010% wt., iron oxide to less than 0.010% wt., achieved by applying aluminium nitrate solutions and a reagent - a solution of sodium aluminate obtained from technical aluminum hydroxide - for deposition of aluminium hydroxide.
EFFECT: increase in the purity of aluminium hydroxide of boehmitic, pseudo-boehmitic or bayeritic modifications.
