FIELD: technological processes; chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions may be used in production of aluminium hydroxide with pseudoboehmite structure and aluminium gamma-oxide on its basis, which are applied in production of catalysts, carriers, etc. Method of production of aluminium hydroxide with pseudoboehmite structure from hydrargillite includes hydration of x-ray-amorphous product of thermal activation of hydrargillite at the temperature of 10-80°C in liquid solutions of non-organic and/or organic substances with pH of 5-10. Proportion of liquid to solid amounts to 1-10:1. Aluminium gamma-oxide is prepared from aluminium hydroxide with pseudoboehmite structure at the temperature of 500-800°C.

EFFECT: inventions allow to produce disperse pseudoboehmite with its high content in finished product and disperse aluminium gamma-oxide.
