FIELD: production of aluminum hydroxide of pseudo-boehmite structure used for production of granulated active aluminum oxide.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heat treatment of starting aluminum hydroxide on revolving surface heated to 100-700 C for 0.5-5 s followed by hydro-thermal treatment of product thus obtained at temperature of 105-170 C for 2-48 h in presence of inorganic or organic agents. Gamma aluminum oxide is obtained by heat treatment of aluminum hydroxide of pseudo-boehmite structure at temperature of 500-700 C.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; high degree of specific surface.
