FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: coaxial chamber for measuring the efficiency of electromagnetic shielding of radio-absorbing materials includes a transmission line consisting of two coaxial insulated conductors, and is characterised by the fact that the central part of the chamber is made in the form of a coaxial line with a ratio of the diameters of the conductors of 1/2.245, connected on each side with a matching transition made in the form of reduction in the diameters of the conductors according to the linear law down to the values corresponding to the ratio of 1/2.3, followed by a regular part, wherein a chamfer is made at the end of said part inside the external conductor, and the ratio of the diameter of the internal conductor to the diameter in the regular part is 1/1.23, wherein the lengths of the internal conductor in the central and regular parts of the chamber are 1/5.3 and 1/7.7 of the total length, and the ratios of the similar lengths for the external conductor are 1/4 and 1/7.63, respectively.
EFFECT: measurement of the efficiency of electromagnetic shielding using a coaxial chamber.
