FIELD: microwave radio engineering; shielding of mirror antennas of radioelectronic communication systems from adverse effect of environment. SUBSTANCE: antenna cover is built up of two sections; bottom section 1 has hollow cylinder shape; part 3 of top section 2 is of almost spherical shape; it is placed above top edge of covered antenna aperture and is made of radio- absorbing material; remaining part 4 of top section 2 is made of insulating material with metal layer 5 on its inner side and with angle-shaped holes receiving differentially connected p-i-n diodes. EFFECT: improved noise immunity, electromagnetic compatibility, and spatial selection of radio signals along with antenna protection from adverse effects. 2 cl, 5 dwg
